1. About These Terms

These Terms govern your use of our website and physiotherapy services provided by Letícia Sá Teles, a CORU-registered physiotherapist practicing in Cork, Ireland.

2. Our Services

Professional Services Include:

  • Physiotherapy assessment and treatment

  • Manual therapy and exercise prescription

  • Ergonomic assessments and workplace consultations

  • Home visit treatments (where available)

  • Corporate wellness programs

  • Posture and movement education.

 

Professional Qualifications:

  • CORU-registered physiotherapist (Registration: PT052096)

  • Qualified to practice in Ireland

  • Continuing professional development maintained

  • Professional indemnity insurance coverage.

3. Appointments and Scheduling

Booking Process:

  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance

  • Online booking or phone/email confirmation required

  • New patients may need additional time for assessment

  • Availability subject to practitioner schedule.

Preparation for Appointments:

  • Arrive on time for scheduled appointments

  • Bring relevant medical documents or referrals

  • Wear appropriate, comfortable clothing

  • Complete intake forms if requested.

4. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Cancellation Requirements:

  • Minimum 24 hours advance notice required

  • Cancellations accepted via phone, email, or online system

  • Emergency situations considered on case-by-case basis

 

Charges:

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice: 50% of session fee

  • No-shows (failure to attend without notice): Full session fee

  • Repeated late cancellations may result in service termination

  • Payment required before rebooking after no-show.

5. Fees and Payment

Payment Terms:

  • Fees as quoted at time of booking

  • Payment due at time of service unless pre-arranged

  • Accepted methods: Cash, card, bank transfer

  • Insurance claims assistance available where applicable.

 

Additional Charges:

  • Travel fees for home visits

  • Report writing fees (if requested)

  • Equipment or exercise materials (if purchased)

  • Late payment fees may apply after 30 days.

6. Medical Information and Consent

Patient Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and complete medical history

  • Inform us of any changes to health status or medications

  • Disclose all relevant symptoms and concerns

  • Follow treatment recommendations and home exercise programs.

Informed Consent:

  • Treatment options and risks will be explained

  • Consent required before beginning treatment

  • Right to ask questions at any time

  • Right to refuse or discontinue treatment.

7. Professional Standards and Boundaries

Scope of Practice:

  • Services provided within physiotherapy scope only

  • Referrals made to other professionals when appropriate

  • Evidence-based treatment approaches used

  • Professional boundaries maintained at all times

 

Confidentiality:

  • All information kept confidential per professional standards

  • Records stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel

  • Information shared only with consent or legal requirement.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our Responsibilities:

  • Provide services with reasonable skill and care

  • Maintain professional indemnity insurance

  • Follow professional standards and guidelines

  • Ensure safe treatment environment.

Limitations:

  • Not responsible for pre-existing conditions

  • Not liable for outcomes beyond our control

  • Client responsible for following treatment advice

  • Maximum liability limited to fees paid for services.

Acceptable Use:

Prohibited Activities:
